Multiple automated coupling assembly lines help our employee-owners keep up with the expanding demand for domestically produced hydraulic couplings.
Hydraulic couplings start as multiple parts that are assembled and then crimped with a machine. The automated lines sort coupling parts on to linear vibratory tracks with the help of feeder bowls. Small robotic grippers grab the individual parts, place them together into automated crimpers for final assembly and then remove the finished coupling.
Automation augments our Lyman operation and helps Kurt supply multiple industries, including agriculture, construction, industrial, logging, marine, mining, mobile equipment and oil and gas.
